Britania Reports Q3/2023 Profit of Over 417 Million, Up 26%, Launches 8 New Projects Worth 10.15 Billion and pushes into the super-luxury brand market.
Britania Public Company Limited or BRI achieved Q3/2023 revenue of over 1.739 billion baht with a net profit of over 417 million baht, growing 26% compared to the previous year. The plan to expand under the B to the Top initiative supports opportunities to diversify revenue recognition across various locations in both the western and eastern parts of Bangkok, highlighting strong purchasing power and transfer of ownership, such as Belgravia Exclusive Pool Villa Bangna-Rama 9 and Grand Britania Ratchaphruek-Rama 5. In Q4/2023, the company is set to launch 8 new projects, including single houses, duplexes, and townhomes, with a total project value of 10.15 billion baht, while also entering the super-luxury market for the first time with a new brand, "Balco," in Phuket.

Mr. Surin Sahachartphokanant, CEO of Britania Public Company Limited or BRI, a leader in real estate development committed to sustainable housing for a better society, revealed that the company continues to drive its business under the B to the Top plan. In Q3/2023 (July-September 2023), the company recorded sales of 3.111 billion baht, a 9% increase from the same period last year, with total revenue of 1.739 billion baht, growing approximately 22% from the same period last year, and a net profit of 417 million baht, up 26% year-on-year.

“We have plans to develop housing projects in new locations and diversify segments including single houses, duplexes, and townhomes for comprehensive expansion, allowing us to mitigate risks and continuously create growth opportunities, even amid changing conditions in the real estate market due to global economic situations. At the same time, we are implementing strategies to partner with landowners in developing new projects, which reduces development costs and helps sustain the overall growth of the company,” Mr. Surin stated.
For the top 3 key projects that contributed to the highest ownership transfers in Q3/2023, they are located in eastern and western Bangkok, including:
- Belgravia Exclusive Pool Villa Bangna-Rama 9
- Grand Britania Ratchaphruek-Rama 5
- Britania Bangna KM.42
Additionally, in Q3/2023, the company launched 3 new projects at the end of the quarter, with a total project value of over 5.8 billion baht, including:
- Grand Britania Thawiwatthana
- Grand Britania Wongwean – Prachauthit, two single house projects with land sizes over 100 square wah
- Britania Bangna Thepharak
Mr. Surin further mentioned that Q4/2023 will be a period to watch for various external factors, such as the Israel-Palestine war, the U.S. Federal Reserve's interest rate hikes, Thailand's policy interest rate adjustments, and the global economic situation. However, Q4 of each year is typically the high season for the real estate business, with consumers in various locations still seeking housing and maintaining strong purchasing power. Therefore, the company is preparing to launch 8 new projects, including single houses, duplexes, and townhomes, in the final stretch of this year, with a total project value of 10.15 billion baht, spread across various locations such as Ratchaphruek and Bangna.
Notably, the highlight of Q4/2023 is the launch of a new brand under the name Balco, which is a super-luxury pool villa brand aimed at expanding the customer base into a new segment that Britania has not previously explored. The first project will be located in Phuket, named Balco Bangtao Beach, with a project value of 1.25 billion baht, expected to be officially launched soon.
Currently, the company has sales awaiting revenue recognition of approximately 1.68 billion baht, expected to gradually recognize revenue within 2023 and early 2024. With the continuous launch of new projects in the final stretch of this year, along with marketing efforts and campaigns targeting additional customer segments, it is believed that this will help generate new sales and ownership transfers, maintaining strong and sustainable growth for the company.
